"Fashion insiders love RHODE, Phoebe Vickers and Purna Khatau’s lifestyle brand, for its modern silhouettes in unforgettable prints. Now, the designers bring RHODE’s effortless beauty to a limited-edition collection of bedding and tableware.

Whether you're setting the table or making the bed, the key to mixing patterns is starting with a single bold item and then adding pieces in complementary colors, the designers say. 'Just have fun with it!'" - west elm

CHITO

[chee-to] Nickname

Create a furniture piece with conceptual, aesthetic and structural components utilizing wood bending as the main technique.

Entre el cielo y la tierra.

Chito was ingeniously designed with the purpose of providing a convenient storage solution for your throw pillows and blankets when retiring to bed. Its intended placement is at the foot of the bed, where one can effortlessly stack the pillows either on top or underneath. Additionally, during the day, Chito serves as an impeccable bench, offering a comfortable seating option for tying one's shoes and engaging in various daily activities.

Chito symbolizes the profound bond between heaven and earth, acting as a tangible manifestation of their interconnection.

SUKI

Custom made buffet.

Following numerous meetings and profound discussions with the client, it became evident that his profound passion and fascination for shadows and lines. In response, I developed the concept board showcased above, presenting it to him as a proposition for his buffet.

In response, he acknowledged my expertise and passion, and said, "Your expertise is evident; proceed with bringing this vision to life."

LABERINTOS

[Lah-beh-reen-tohs] - Spanish for “labyrinths”

Collaboration with Guatemalan artist, Erick Menchú. The intention was to create a functional product using his concrete samples originally intended for facades.

Erick Menchú (1977) is a Guatemalan visual artist, painter, and printmaker. He is one of the founders of the Taller de Gráfica Experimental of Guatemala (TEGG).

On 2018, Menchú lost his hearing, and that led him into a labyrinth of anguish, whose hallways he began to recognize and where he ultimately found himself. His work speaks of internal struggles, his passion for eyes, and the wonderful encounter with new languages. This is how "Laberintos" came to life, to symbolize a labyrinth, how he almost gave up, but decided to fight and continue with life and represent how many times a tragedy, can become a blessing.

UNUM

[Yoo-nuh m] Latin for “one”

Wear uniqueness. Wear one of a kind.

I was inspired by the challenges of handling clutch bags and my aspiration to enhance their comfort. My goal was to design a distinctive statement item that reflects the individuality inherent in every person's life. While it's not fair to judge people solely by their appearances, society ingrains this tendency within us. Unum serves as a talking point due to its vibrant colors and polished surface, symbolizing how people assess and discuss others' looks and behavior based on their personal style and demeanor.
